Nikki Pearson is a playwright, actor, artist and educator. She is a graduate of Occidental College with a BA in Art History and received a Masters in Education from Pepperdine University. Before starting her family, she worked as a professional photographer and taught Photojournalism to elementary students. She has studied playwrighting at South Coast Repertory with Diana Burbano and mentored under award winning playwright, Janet Neipris, at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. 

Nikki’s play Most Huge Orange Star was selected for production in New Voices Playwrights Theater Holiday Voices 2025. Her short play, Reflection was published in New Voices Anthology of Short Plays (2025).  A scene from her full length play In Their Shoes was performed in Dana Point at a fundraiser benefiting the Matthew Shepard Foundation. Nikki is grateful to be a member of New Voices Playwrights, OC Playwrights Alliance (OCPA) and Dramatists Guild.
