Kian Ash, an award-winning novelist, playwright, and actor residing in Southern California, has had his works published in various publications including Big Magic Tent Books, Mundania Press, The Cincinnati Enquirer, the Boston Globe, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Asian-American Writers Anthology, the Writers’ Post Journal, New Voices Anthology of Short Plays, Actors Ink, and Stories of Strength.. His debut novel, published by Behler Publications, received an Independent Publisher Book (IPPY) Award in the Multicultural Adult Fiction category.
As an actor, Kian has graced the stage in renowned musicals such as Oklahoma!, The King and I, My Fair Lady, Take Me Out, Triumph of Love, Scrooge, The Pirates of Penzance, and South Pacific. His talent extends beyond the stage, as he has also appeared in national commercials, feature films, and TV series. Notably, Kian has made appearances on NPR’s Talk of the Nation, where he engaged in a discussion about minorities and stereotypes in Hollywood. He is currently composing for Pandora the Musical, of which a staged reading is scheduled for early 2026.
