Anne Grob

Anne Grob is a playwright living in Southern California. Her plays have been produced in New York City’s Greenwich Village Players Theatre Short Play Festival, Only in New York. Her play “One Fifth” was performed in the SPF in June 2013. Her play “Hemingway at the Larchmont,” performed in June 2014, was voted best of festival, Week Two.

Anne’s play “The Planting Moon” was a semifinalist in Little Black Dress Ink’s National Festival of New York and received a staged reading in Santa Barbara in April 2014.
Anne’s play “Variations on a Composition in Blue” is enjoying its debut production in New Voices Summer Voices 2014 directed by Geoffrey Gread and starring Arturo Jones and Megan Tice.

Anne studied playwriting with Cecilia Fannon and others at South Coast Repertory’s Playwriting Conservatory, where she first developed “Variations on a Composition in Blue,” along with several of her other one-act and full-length plays.
Anne is also a docent at the Orange County Museum of Art, and enjoys creating theater that explores the intersection of art themes and drama.
